IT Team Leader

Michele Peresso Group is mainly active in the retail market through its subsidiaries Eurosport Ltd., Europharma Ltd. and Michele Peresso Fashion Ltd. We are currently recruiting for the position of IT Team Leader on a full-time basis.

As an IT Team Leader, you will be responsible for managing and leading IT services to ensure the effective operation, maintenance, and development of all IT systems within the Michele Peresso Group. You will oversee the day-to-day activities of the team, provide technical guidance, and ensure that IT projects are completed on time and within budget. Additionally, you will collaborate with other departments to identify and address their IT needs and support the overall goals of the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operation and maintenance of all IT systems, networks, and infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and security.
• Implement and enforce IT policies, procedures, and standards to safeguard the organization's data and assets.
• Monitor system performance and security, identifying and addressing any issues or vulnerabilities in a timely manner.
• Lead, mentor, and supervise a small IT team, assigning tasks, providing feedback, and conducting performance evaluations.
• Plan, prioritise, and oversee IT projects, ensuring that they are completed according to specifications, within budget, and on schedule.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in the IT industry, assessing their potential impact on the organization and recommending adoption strategies.

Required Skills and Competencies:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• At least 3 years’ experience in an IT administrative or leadership position.
• Strong technical expertise across a broad range of IT domains, including infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, and data management with certifications.
• Excellent leadership and management skills
• Effective communication skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
